FCA has sold Magneti Marelli to Calsonic Kansel, a company in the automotive sector born in Japan.
The operation, which has a value of € 6.2 billion and aims “to create an independent leader in automotive components”, was announced in a joint statement by FCA, Magneti Marelli and Calsonic Kansei.
Businesses are held in Italy and employment levels.
